Purple Elephant

Faq Help

This is our most frequently asked question by far.  The short version of the story goes like this….Our president once exhibited in a tradeshow where everything he did was purple…purple props in the booth, robotic model in a purple dress out front handing out calendars. You name it, everything was purple.  After the show no one remembered the name of his company…but they remembered he was the “purple guy at the tradeshow.”  When it came time to changing our name from At Cost Apparel, a friend asked what our president wanted to call the company…and he said, “I don’t care….so long as people know we do promotional products and apparel they’ll never forget.”  The friend responded, “elephants never forget!” So we took the purple from the tradeshow experience and put it with the elephant and the rest is history.

The short answer is yes.  Different fabrics and brands of the same fabric respond differently to DTG.  We have had some success with 60/40 cotton/polyester shirts and some tri-blend shirts.  We can always try a given material and see how it works.
